On the front wall of the sanctuary, there are two verses. Luke 1:17 “…a people prepared for the Lord.” This was part of the prophetic word concerning the mission of John the Baptist. Why is it on the wall of our church? Shortly after we came to FWC God made this my personal mandate. I was supposed to make people ready for God. Ready to live for God every day; ready to serve Him; ready to witness; ready for His return.
The second verse is Matthew 21:13 “… My house shall be called the house of prayer”. This verse is the second part of the vision for FWC. “A people prepared for the LORD”, absolutely. But a church populated with men, women, and children who know how to pray fervently and effectively will be victorious!
